Therefore the knowledge and science of materials and material mechanic is of great importance and consideration. By looking very briefly to the aircraft history you can see how engineers tend to change the materials of various parts of aircrafts or ant air vehicle. There are many factors to choose or make an aircraft materials. Very importance ones are strength, weight, flexibility, low cost and be easy to mass production. So at the first days of aircraft production wood was used. Wood is cheap, very easy to reshape and change, very light and easy to obtain. That was the main reason it was involved in manufacturing many parts of aircraft until the end of WWI. Since aircraft designers tend to make faster, heavier and bigger aircrafts, wood was found very in-effective. Therefore engineers tend to use metallic materials like steel, Aluminium and titanium.
These materials are much heavier and are more expensive than wood. Also they need very complex machinery equipments to make and on top of all these they brought a special knowledge and course of aeronautical and mechanical engineering which is called ‘‘Structure and Stress analysis’’, which is the scientific way of testing and designing materials for use of mechanical purposes.

Smiths Aerospace

In The Name Of God

Indeed Smiths Aerospace company is one of the most famous Aero -Technology companies in the world. In 1851 Samuel Smith established his familiy watch and clock company in London city and after him i hte period of 1917 to 1929 Smiths group found itself as fully mechanical engineering company specialy in regard of aircraft which was very new technology on that time. Smiths aerospace company like many of the other worldwide and succesful Aero companies has many other sub division parts which are not related to aerospace technology directly but are indeed very neccessary like Electrical and Mechanical parts.
For more usefull information you can go to its official website which is mounted in my weblog link.

New Iranian Made Weapon

In The Name Of God

It is really good to see Iranian Aeonautic innovation every day!. To be honest Hizballah has done a great job so far, i mean fighting with 4th strongest classical army in hte world which has best technology in the world (American) and also very professional special forces who are experienced in un-organised wars is very very hard. Now add to it very limited millitary equipments of Hizballah you will understand that how bravely Lebanis had fought. Disigard of all this, i do not think Israeli army used all what they have. I mean they really did not want to fuck up hizballah! yes they did not, no becuase they did not want, but becasue they were not allowed to used what ever they have due of some important political considerations. I do not mean bull shits like human right but indeed, its Arab neibours!!!. just look at what American army have done so far at Fallujah in Iraq and Tora-Bura in Afhanistan. Massive and huge range of distruction in country with size of Lebanon which is very small indeed and has not a long distance from its other neibours will highly cost for Israel and America. That is why you did not see B-52s and oversize Israeli missiles. Israeli army becasue of all that i have mntioned so far had been forced to use its special forces and armours like Mirkavi tanks and artillary power. so they pushed their men in groud of Lebanon and this was what hizballah fancy! means asymmetric war. but after this bloody dirty war Iranian Army decided to do a massive Army show which is called ''Zolfaghar''. They managed to test one of Iranian most modern Short range missiles. Definately one day in futur you will see Iran-140 as first iranian made aircraft at iranian aerospace musem!

One airline alone, Iran Air, the national airline of Iran, has under way a massive fleet renewal and expansion plan and is expected to expend an estimated $7 Billion on aircraft purchases. In light of such demand, local manufacturers, by capitalizing upon technological incentives offered by international manufacturers to win sales, have been able to formulate production outsourcing and joint partnering ventures. The outcome of these steps have led to the launch of a joint venture for the manufacture of the Antonov 140, a 60-70 seat passenger aircraft.

HESA, the center of excellence in Aeronautics in Iran is responsible for manufacture, co-production, export and managing the marketing, sales and support of IRAN- 140 Aircraft (Original ANTONOV- 140) advanced technology, superior design features, excellent reliability and performance combine to make IRAN-140 the most successful regional prop-jet in the world today and tomorrow. IRAN -140 is a pressurized, twin turbo prop, high wing aircraft, which combines a rapid transit speed (310Kts, 575 Km/h) with outstanding performance in " HOT & HIGH " climates. Its added ability to operate from unprepared airfields makes it an ideal aircraft for any regional network.

IRAN-140 fuselage provides for an excellent passenger/cargo loading capability, which along with high wing, permits ample clearance for ground servicing vehicles. Other features :Exceptional pilot visibility from the cockpit, very good low speed handling, aregged fuselage structure with an economic life of 20000 landings, carefully placed passenger and service doors, plus a range of gross weights to meet operator requirements.

A six bladed swept back advance technology propellers is composed of a metallic spar embedded in a composite sheath. IRAN-140 power plant, with millions of flying is the most reliable engine that integrates the propeller and engine controls into a propulsion system that is ideally suited to the IRAN-140 Aircraft.

The first Hesa-produced Iran-140 was completed in 2001, but company has yet to find a domestic customer for the aircraft, which is being seen with scepticism by Iranian civilian operators.

On 22 December 2002 an Antonov 140 departed Kharkov at 11:23 for a flight to Isfahan, Iran via Trabzon. The passengers, aerospace scientists and executives, were to visit the test flight of the Iran-140, an Antonov 140 built under license in Iran. At 13:45 the flight landed at Trabzon, Turkey for refueling. About one hour later, at 14:51, the plane took off heading for Isfahan. While descending towards Isfahan in an area of poor visibility, the aircraft collided with a mountain. Iran's civil aviation authority announced that a pilot's failure to correctly use a cockpit global positioning system (GPS) caused the crash.

Maritime patrol, including roles such as electronic warfare, anti-ship missile firing and long range missile guidance relay, emphasizes a need for at least 7 hours endurance. An-140 does not have such a capability yet, but some modifications are being planned to enlarge aircraft's fuel tanks, and by adding additional tanks to the outboard wing section. The Iranian Navy has expressed its willingness to operate the An-140 in offensive and patrol roles, equipping it with a 360-deg surface search radar. Other equipment options will include an infrared/ultra-violet line scanner (IR/UVLS), forward looking airborne radar (FLAR), side looking airborne radar (SLAR), laser fluorescent sensor (LFS), microwave radiometer (MWR), forward looking Infra-red (FLIR), magnetic anomaly detector (MAD), electronic support measures/radar warning receiver (ESMRWR), antisurface weapons and a video camera with data annotation.

Antonov An-140 military AEW version will be equipped with a rotodome and a yet to be determined surveillance radar. Iran has an urgent requirement for at least a dozen of such aircraft due to its diverse topography.

Specifications

This modifications which adds a second cockpit, is to fulfil an IRIAF requirement for more fast jet trainers. All the aircraft serve with the training unit based at Shiraz. Other noteworthy F-5 modifications in Iranian service include the integration of the Russian R-60M and Chinese PL-7 heat seeking air-to-air missiles, as well as AGM-65 Maverick missiles. The APQ-159 radar was also tweaked to increase its detection range from 20 miles to 40 miles (32 to 64Km), it’s tracking range from 10 miles to 23 and is tracking performance. Since the mid-1980s the IRIAF has been rebuilding or manufacturing thousands of F-5 parts, including parts for its GE J85 engine. Building on this experience the IRIAF’s Owj industrial complex then started reverse engineering the F-5E’s airframe, which flew in the late 1990s as the Owj Azarakhsh. The Azarakhsh is an F-5E copy, with only minor changes, which are mostly internal. the only external difference is a slight lengthening of the nose to make room for a new radar unit which Iranian and Russian engineers are developing jointly. After building a single prototype, the Owj moved ahead with a more radical endeavour, in the form of replacing the F-‘s original single vertical tail configuration with a twin outward canted vertical tail design to improve performance. The new aircraft named Saegheh is currently under going a slow paced test program. The Owj complex is also reportedly working on the separate new design which includes a major works of the original F-5. There are currently eight squadrons of F5E/Fs based at three facilities, three squadron based TFB.2 at Tabriz; three with TFB.4 at Dezful, Ardestani; a squadron with Omideyeh TFB.5 at there near Ahwaz and a sold unit residing at Babaie TFB.8 near Isfahan. A detachment of RF-5As soldier on at TFB.7, Shiraz, as do a mix of F-5B and F-5B Simorgh which serve the based training unit.

Iranian F-5 story, Part 1

In The Name Of God
Iran was the first country to receive the Northrop F-5 Freedom fighter. However, form January 1974 the Freedom fighters were replaced by 141 F-5E and 28 F-5F Tiger2s, and during the 1980s, when Iran was at war with Iraq, further F-5A/Es were acquired from Ethiopia and Vietnam.

The F-5 Tiger served as the workhorse of the Islamic republic of Iran Air Force during war with Iraq, especially on close Air support missions, and this active participation cost Iran at least 110 F-5s to enemy and friendly fire, mostly leading to death of their pilots. However the 17 air to air kills attributed to the tiger include a mig-25PD already damaged by an F-14, two Su-20s and six helicopters.

After the end of war Iran started rebuilding many damaged aircraft. the IRIF also completed as effort to equip a few of its F-5E/Fs with detachable in-flight refuelling equipment, for training purposes.

the above information is obtained by www.airforcesmonthly.com

Addressing Iranian Missiles

In The Name Of God

Today i want to make a list of what iranian millitary containes in term of missiles, this is indeed due to current middle east crisis at Lebanon and Israil.
USA and Israilies claims that hezballah uses Iranian made missiles which to be honest they are absoloutley right!!.
misilles like Fajr, Raad, Zelzal, Adiat or UAV liek mohajer-4 are well known iranian made missiles and aircraft. Becasue of the closed governing system of Communist party of country there are not a lot of information about their real missiles developments and system but from their late missile tests it became clear that they have very good and accurate short and even medium range missiles with solid fuel which can target any American millitary base on far east and Japan. But North Korean missile ambitious is much more than that and also their capability is very high to develope long rane accurate missiles which can carry nuclear head and target USA. Today missile test was evidence of that and disregard of their Unseccesful effort they will develope a very good missiles on short future. to know more about this long range missile please click here.

Shuttle Discovery

In The Name Of God

Shuttle Dscovery is perhaps one of the most successful air-space vehicle of present century which ahs done so many importnat job on space technology field. At the end of WWII that ''something'' was an American Bomber. but every body know these days Bomber can not fly by themselves whithout support of fighters and hit the target, so we have to use missile to do this job. therefore iranian missiles have to be capeable o carryng nuclear bomb and say hit Israil. A key question therefore arise here, Are Iranian Missile that good? let's see.

Missiles

                                                          In The Name Of God

Hello guys! I think it is time to speak about more serious issues of aerospace science. Due to world political confliction raise I prefer to start of by missiles! Missile has fantastic capabilities for carrying very dodgy warhead with it. But actually production of good and accurate high range missile is not very easy task, it needs loads of effort and very good technical support, and of course money! So let’s start from first practical missile which was V2 or A4 a German job!

To be honest it was a fantastic missile! Not just because it was the first missile had been used during the war but also because when fuckin American captured it (plus people who design it!!!) after little bit modification they simply called it X-4 and it was indeed the missile which sent man to the space! for more information about this true historic theft of Russian and American click here.

One the next issue i am going to speak more in detail about what hell missile is.

How wing works?

                                                             In The Name Of God

hello again!. Well today I am going to speak about something entirely important in term of Aerospace. Actually al the aerospace started from this point that how things can go up or fly? How birds can fly?

Here we need to have very powerful physical and mathematical tools like various fundamental important Fluid mechanics laws and also very sophisticated mathematical principles to explain this physical fact in term of engineering language. But because it took more than four bloody boring years for me to understand them i am going to mention them very briefly. Most essential part of birds (aircraft) which makes them fly is WING. by analysing wing we can see that when it moves trough a fluid (in our case air) there will be circulation of air around it. This air circulation around the wing will generate imbalance pressure ratio on the wing which means it makes high pressure below and low pressure on the top of the wing.

Because always air and any other fluid moves in the direction of high to low, so there will be a net force creation result of this fabulous pressure ratio on the wing which makes wing and as result air vehicle goes up!! Yes I know it sounds dead simple but in fact took several centuries to be discovered and after become applicable by fuckin humans!

Iranian sattelite

Iran intends to launch its first satellite into space in 2006, and its sole purpose is to be for telecommunications, Iranian newspapers reported Thursday.

"This is the first telecommunications satellite, code-named Mesbah (Lantern), to be launched this year, among the five approved to be built," Deputy Communication Minister Hasan Shafti was quoted as saying.

"This satellite was designed and built with Italian cooperation," he added.

It was to orbit at an altitude of 900 kilometers (about 560 miles).

The launch of the 60 kilogram (132 pounds) cube-shaped Mesbah satellite was delayed.

Iranian officials had said in September 2004 that it would launch in April 2005, but now they say it will launch by the end of the current Iranian year, ending March 2006.

Press reports in 2004 had said: "The satellite will be used to identify natural resources, control the electrical and energy network (gas and oil), and later on can be used by communications and crisis management."

Shafti said that out of the five satellites planned for construction, three will be launched into space over the next three years.

The second Iranian satellite is multipurpose and bigger than Mesbah, and is to be built by Iran, China and Thailand, he said.

"The third one, code-named Zohre (Venus), is the biggest national telecommunications satellite and it will be built with Russian cooperation in three years time," Shafti added.

communication

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; First of all I have to apologies for my late because of the fuckin exams which I had! Well as it was stated before i have to talk about communication and aerospace technology relationship. Let start form very popular event like football world cup in Germany which all the people all around this dirty world love to see it! Specially those 32 countries which are in world cup. Perhaps most of you know how all these stupid matches are going to be broadcast from Germany. The answer is SATELLITE. Satellite technology which indeed is one of the most new, advanced and very expensive technologies in the world can provide us very good facility for broadcasting regards. Better satellite means better communication. But how we can have better satellite?
To be honest with you, satellite by its own is more explained by electronic and computer field engineers and analysers rather than aerospace!!! Which means aerospace guys are not concern about how to make a satellite but we are concern how to send a satellite to space in its best efficient way (obviously means money!). Design and production of satellite launchers and its control equipment is a big story and how to send it and keep it on perfect position is another story.

Importance of an Aerspace: Transport

                 In The Name of God

Ok guys! Today I am going to discuss the importance of aerospace technology from transport perspective. All of us know nowadays how easy is travelling from middle east to western Europe or form America to south of Africa. All that is simply done by massive airliners like Boeing or Airbus .theses sophisticated airliners are able to carry more than 200 passengers and loads of belongings without stop form one point to other point on the earth. But the importance of transport is not only limited to the travelling between countries or cities. You can carry loads of heavy stuff by aircrafts like C-130 without harming them compared to ships or trains. Also we are using light and so called multi-use aircraft for emergency purposes like air-ambulance, which make you able to have very modern operational room inside the aircraft to carry a patient as soon as possible to the safe place or more sophisticated hospitals.

The best example of this was disaster of earth-quick of Bam on central Iran which because of Bam airport many huge aid and military aircrafts managed to land over and city and reduce the degree of disaster.

Importance of Aerospace

Why aerospace is important?

Well first of all I have to apology for my really bad English grammar! Ok lets go to this key question that why aerospace science is very important. I have to address this issue into several categories as below: 1. military point of view 2. communication 3. transport 4. research I suppose the first one which is military use of an aerospace technology is very clear for reader indeed. Maybe most of you think that an airspace engineer only deals with missile and fighters but even making a successful bullet is a job of aerospace engineer or researcher. The importance of aero technology was discovered and been used through WWI where German, British and French armies managed to really fuck up [sorry for this!] each other by using aircrafts. Also German which indeed have done too much for aerospace technology [of course for their own benefit!] managed to made very powerful cannons to deliver bombs to very long ranges in order to bitching [I am very sorry again] French. But the real jump on military aerospace technology which led to creation of missiles, fast fighters and helicopter was done on WWII. Again German because had really very genius people and scientist managed to made very nice fighters, bombers, helicopters and missiles. Especially V2 missile which was the fist missile on the world and actually the launchers which Russian and American used to send their stupid astronomies were modified German V2 missiles. Air battle was observed to be essential battle on Second World War and other countries found out that they can not survive any war with classical and traditional ground battles any more. Nowadays by very simple analysing of our century recent wars you can investigate the importance of aerospace technology. For example when President Bush one night dreamed that Jesus Christ asked him to invade Iraq and liberate Iraqis from evil Saddam and of course because he is very good Christine and did not say no, American army decided to invade Iraq for sake of justice. Therefore they took as much as they could to Middle East and Persian Gulf. The interesting thing form an aerospace engineer point of view was the start of bloody war! For fist two fucking weeks American just used their Cruz missile and heavy B-52 bombers of course with support of too many fighters to attack Iraq. So they managed to destroy the entire Iraqi army basements and military places and after that brave American army marched to Baghdad and managed to make Jesus happy! So we can see that even Americans which benefits most strongest ground and sea forces on the world were not dare to invade Iraq [which was indeed out of army, soldiers, missile, fighters, sea force, radar, satellite, special forces, mass destruction weapon, food, money and finally good leader!!!!] without use of aerospace technology.

Welcome

In The Name Of God

Hello every body!

My real name is Jafar Al-sayed noor and currently living in city if Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. my favourite nickname which many of my friends are familiar with is Poshte_Sahne which in Persian means behind the scene. Also i will put some political and life style issues which simply reflects my belief and also broadcast the news on my region, middle east and my mother land IRAN.
